[Katie]

Katie Hippen is a Faculty Assistant at CYAHD. Her research interests include intimate and familial relationships, sexuality, aging, and mental health.




[Maya]

Maya Deane-Polyak has her MPH in Health Equity. Her interests include participating in community service work and making music with many instruments.




Investigators


Amelia M. Arria, Ph.D. is the Principal Investigator of the CLS and Director of the Center on Young Adult Health and Development (CYAHD). She is an epidemiologist with special research interests in the area of adolescent and young adult development.

Kevin E. O'Grady, Ph.D. is the Co-Investigator on the CLS and Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology. His research interests focus on the etiology of substance abuse, particularly opioid abuse, and the assessment and treatment of DWI offenders.


Staff

Kimberly M. Caldeira, M.S. is the Project Director of the CLS and Associate Director of CYAHD. Her research interests include stress, coping, and risky behaviors among young adults.

Kathryn B. Vincent Carr, M.A. is the Director of Operations of CYAHD. If you have any questions about the College Life Study, please contact her at cls@umd.edu.

Brittany A. Bugbee, M.P.H. is the Recruitment Coordinator of the CLS and is a Senior Faculty Specialist at CYAHD. She manages the interviewing team and the quality assurance processes.

Angie L. Barrall, M.P.H. was the Recruitment Coordinator of the CLS from 2016-2019 and is a Faculty Specialist at CYAHD.

Kenneth J. Sher, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

John E. Schulenberg, Ph.D. is a Research Professor at the Center for Human Growth and Development, and a Psychology Professor at the University of Michigan.

S. Todd Callahan, M.D., M.P.H. is an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Rosa M. Crum, M.D., M.H.S. is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology, at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Ken C. Winters, Ph.D. is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Minnesota.
